Hi evrybody,
I have a good chance to know the group when I decided that the S2 should be my next camera and try to have some more helpful information from the net.
I stated my digital photography with an Agfa e-Foto CL50 and switches to a Finepix 4900 last year. Through the past experience with my Finepix 4900, I think that power is one of the critical isue for digital photography and since I had to run a number of serial test for my study with my camera, I realy needed a good and cheap power source to work with.
I have build fo me a pover kit as shown here and it work wery well with my Finepix 4900. (attached file)

Materials:
-3 battery holders(for 4 battery in D size), cost about $1.5 x3
-1 female car's cigarete lighter comnector, about $6 for a lighter.(Auto Part)
-1 Power inverter 200watts, around $35.00 (at Sear, or Auto Part)
-12 NIMH D size batteries ($16 a pair at Radio Shack)
-A pieces of wire(to concect the batteries and make a line out)

I used some epoxy to glue the battery holders together and solder the end of each holder , positive one to negative of another (+terminal[1st holder]-terminalX+terminal[2nd holder]-terminalX+terminal[3rd holder]-terminal)

I hope that this sharing could be useful for somebuddy.
