Wish someone could help me on this.

When I shoot jpeg, some files which i tweak using Photoshop 7 (like auto levels etc) cannot be shown when using the Finepix viewer. It just shows a big red qn mark and when i double click on it, an error msg pops up. Why is this so? Anyone knows how to resolve this?

Also when I shoot raw, convert using EX to tiff. However, when i open tiff file using Photoshop 7, there seems to be no way to convert the file to a jpeg file. I tried save as, but there was only 3 options: psd, tiff and raw.
Why is this so? Anyone knows how to resolve this?

Not sure about your first question, but regarding "Save As...", do you have layers in the image? You have to flatten the image before JPG becomes an option again.

Edited later: Hmmm....I just tried that. What I said is wrong. Its till offers the different formats in mine.

Make sure when converting from RAW to tiff, set the EX to ( 8 BIT ) and not 16. Also make sure when in photoshop that all pictures are 8 bit. Having them at 16 will mess things up and do this.
Hopefully future versions of PS will support 16 bit better but for now work in 8 bit modes only. Our lab also cannot print 16 bit pictures, they must be 8 bit for that also.
