As a companion thread to the threads about softness, how come my Coolpix 5000 (5 megapixels, 14 MB file) can produce better resolved pictures of foliage than my S2 can? I would welcome any comments on these pictures because the S2 just seems to lose resolving power when faced with a mass of detail.
The 2 different "views" are hugely reduced, they're just so you can see where the details were taken from. The "details", although JPEGed, are the original sizes.
