I'd greatly appreciate hearing what you think about this shot I took at a recent wedding I photographed with my S2. I can't say enough GREAT things about this camera.. I haven't had this much fun in years!

Great timing, I like the way they are in color and everyone else is in BW. I think you did a good job.

Join the club, I can`t say enough about the camera either, its like a new toy - well eeee... it is a new toy ;)
The good features overshaddow the downsides.
I`m up for a wedding photographic session soon.
It seems you used slow sync flash.
- Did you use the onboard flash or an external ?
- Did you do any flash compenation (+-EV) ?

Hey! Thanks for the feedback, and good luck with your upcoming wedding shoot!
Actually, for this shot I used an external "Sunpak auto 383 super" flash unit. Though, I was a little caught off guard by how fast they were walking up the isle, so I didn't have enough time to get all the settings technically quite right (certainly not enough to mess with the flash compensation) - though I am pleasantly surprised with the outcome. :)
This was my first wedding - and let me tell you, I certainly admire those of you that can do that on a regular basis! I was stressing hard most of the day (especially for the formal church shots w/ the family) - and that was with the ability to "see" what I was shooting throughout - I couldn't even imagine doing this with film!

Great spontanious pic
I been shooting for many years, and over that time have done dozens of my friends weddings, both as the main photographer ,but mainly as a back up , taking candids in the crowd, do it for free ,and a lunch.
Once i was asked to do my godsons wedding i snapped all the formal pics on my 90x, then swapped over to a little compact cannon, and wandered.
Good job i had 2 cameras, when the shots were developed, most the 90's were out of focus, i had set it to manual, but thought i was in AF, in the stress of the day i had not realized the AF was not adjusting.
Luckily i must have moved it after the main pics of the church service , so i had some of the important ones. I double check all settings now.
I too have nothing ,but admiration for many of you out there who do this day in ,day out.
