Hello All,
I thought it would be great to see your snake shots. I have many snakes, but will spare you and only show three of them. All shots were taken with a Micro-Nikkor 105 f/4. Hope you enjoy them. Remember, snakes are hypoallergenic and give great hugs!

Wow - the last 2 shots are beautiful! Such a hobby, collecting snakes! How can snakes give hugs - no arms! I'm not afraid of snakes, however, I just as soon not see one!
Thanks for sharing
Bill

Nice Royal Python and Albino Corn. Is the middle one a King Snake?

Hi Andrew. The middle snake is in fact a California King. Thanks.

Magic,
Here's a link to just one of our snakes. I will have to get some shots of the other 14 or so.

That is an awesome shot! Looks like a nice placid snake. I would love to see some of your other snake images.

I happened to have a snake shot..I think they called it a Blood Python and it's supposed to be extremely valuable.
The other two shots aren't exactly snakes, but close enough.

Magic,
The snake is very placid until you leave it alone in the middle of the sofa or floor, then it gets a bit frightened and will try to defend itself (understandable really) and also at feed time, you don't want to get in between the rabbit and snake.
Alice,
The first pic is some sort of milk or king snake I think. It definately isn't a blood python. The second is a blu tongue skink and the frog is either a tomato or bull frog.
Great pics.

Hi, Eastern...thanks...I remember the guy called it Blood 'something'..I thought he said Python..I'm not sure.
Of course you're correct about the skink...it wasn't easy timing the shot with the tongue out..lol
The last one, he called it a PacMan frog..I think he said it was from South America.
There's a little "mom and pop" place a couple miles from here called the Reptile Ranch that has a wide variety of reptiles as well as a lion, tiger, arctic fox, and various other exotics. I'm going to be a frequent visitor there this spring so that I can get to know the big cats...The owners will let me actually handle them and get up close and personal for pix.
