I can't be the only one with the problem. Predictably, given the flimsiness of the thing and overall bad design, I lost the LCD protector on my S2. I had previously lost it four times already, but had been lucky enough to find it, usually in the street, next to my car. No such luck this time. Now, does Fuji sell replacements? I know my retailer didn't find it in his "spare parts" book, and will have to check with them if they do.

Anybody knows anything about this? Thanks.

This part is definately available in the UK from the camera spares department at Fuji Photo Film (UK ) Ltd and costs 8.99 GB Pounds. I am sure it should be available from Fuji in the States or Canada

I would go with an aftermarket protector, as they're actually worth something. And they stay on. Should be a thread somewhere here on it.

Here's a recent one:

And here's another thread on it with two or three different options:

Perfoming a search here will provide you with a lot of hits on the same issues that you're having. In fact, I think I'll post in the general section about this as it seems to be a growing trend.

I know I'll pay the price sooner or later, but when I lost mine shortly after purchasing I started to look for a replacement.

I never got around to replacing, mostly because I didn't look too hard... about the only thing I use for is to check histogram...

I to lost mine but never bothered trying to replace it. £8.99!! good god!! Sounds a bit heavy for some flimsy piece of plastic..

And I may add it isn't even transparent!
