Hello Bohors,
I don't think that you will get many information - because it is still not available.
As an alternative I would suggest one of the Nikons, p.e. the 24-85 (I don't care if it's the AFD or the AFG Version, both have their advantages) or the 24-120 VR (which I am waiting for).
In General: I do not buy a 2.000,- $ Body to attache a 300,- $ lens. It's like using cheap loudspeakers on a good stereo.
Regards
Peter

Hello,
Are you talking about the Nikor 24-120 f/3.5-5.6G?
Best.

Hello Bohors,
that's what I am talking about. It's a "G" Version including the Vibration reduction known from the 70-200 VR and the 80-400 VR.
I also had the 24-85 AFS-G and I still have the 24-85 AF-D - but just until the new one arrives :)
Regards
Peter
