I installed the RAW converter EX easely under OS 10.2.6 and it's working fine.
I also installed the Camera Shooting software, the instalation seemed to go well but when I try to launch the application I get an error message about a shared library error.
Did someone get the Camera Shooting software to work on OSX?

I keep looking and looking and have yet to find the darn software...can someone please post a link to the actual (frames) page where the download exists?
I keep checking http://fujifilmsupport.com/driver/procam.htm - which is where I would expect it to be... so it's probably somewhere else...
thanks

Fuji has removed the upgrade from their site, some say it should be back soon (maybee with a better installer or more info).
As for the Camera Shooting Software I got it working after I removed ALL Fuji applications, preferences, anything Fuji from my drive and installed the upgrade while in OSX.

So you can shoot tethered in OS X? Is this with the USB or Firewire?

To shoot tethered with the S2 I use the Firewire.
I dont think it can be done with USB in any OS.

You can download the OSX version from Fuji Japan's site.
http://www.fujifilm.co.jp/download/rfcex2_mx/download.html
Fuji America's site http://fujifilmsupport.com/driver/procam.htm still does not have it re-posted
The steps I took for a successful install:
1 I got rid off my Classic install of all Fuji Software
2 I inserted my Hyper Utitlity Install CD
3 I ran the RXUP2016 Installer - NOT the pkg file - the application file is the installer
4 The installer requires a re-boot
This installs a slightly improved version of Converter EX, a FinePix Viewer and CAMERA SHOOTING SOFTWARE.
[whoops.. CAMERA SHOOTING SOFTWARE is a separate download... CSSXUP20]
It installs the software in the same convoluted manner as the OS9 version - the RAW converter is buried deep in "FinePix Viewer/EXTENSIONS/HELPERS "
Not sure what the difference is between the RXUP2013 and RXUP2016 files - I ran both of them, and so far don't see a difference.
[update: I am not sure, but I think a difference between 13 & 16 is that in the 2013 install the sensitization increments are in 1/3rds, and the 2016 are in 1/6ths]

Fuji America has finally re-released the software
http://s2prosoftware.com/
You have to register & take a mini-survey to get to the downloads section.
The download appears to be the same as the japanese version - RXUP2016
Looking inside the package installer, you find a japanese, english and german version of the software.
cheers
