Yeeeaaaak ! this thing sould be called "Super-Coolpix" ! ...but maybe it's only the "silver" paint that makes it so ugly :rolleyes: !?!

Good good good! Bring those prices down! The more people using DSLRs, the lower the prices, the more people will use them, the more the market grows, the more Nikon puts into development, the better for everyone!

You're right and you're wrong there. The Digital Rebel 300 may have limited days, or does it? This D50 looks like the competitor to the DR 300, not anything so much greater than one.

Canon now has the DR 350 which is a competitor to the D70 which has right around the same feature set as the D70 and even has mirror lockup (not just for cleaning).

Not bashing here, not touting, just saying the competitiveness is out there.
