Got a new slrn yesterday.

Havent done much with it yet, although updated the firmware and had a couple of hours with Photodesk, made a B&W print on my 2100 and very pleased so far.

The learning curve is going to have to be steep as I cant mess around too much as my schedule is busy at the moment so any hints and tips from existing users would be greatly appreciated.

How long do you guys spend in photodesk before going to PS ?, it seems a lot can be done in PD and only the fine tuning to do in PS.

Regards

Nigel

Congratulations Nigel.
The SLR/n is a great machine, though needs some attention and respect :)
The main trick is learning how to fight shadows noise, but it's not too hard.

I use PD rarely, preferring PS CS for editing from converting RAW up to sharpening (with a little help of PP :) ).

If you have any Q's, feel free to ask, I'll be happy to share my skills ...
