Forums Down For Upgrade

During this week the forum will be down for upgrades. We will try to keep the downtime as short as possible. Here is the following schedule:

Monday March 7th 23:00 PST (outage 15 minutes)
Tuesday March 8th 23:00 PST (outage 30 minutes)
Thursday Marth 10th 23:00 PST (outage ~1 hour)

Thank you deMille and HulaMike for the heads up on the logout and 'jittery' issues. I did fix the logout and "cookie" functions that seemed to be failing after last nights hardware and forum code upgrade.

Right now it looks like the server is running pretty smooth. The next upgrade window will be Thursday night to allow for the Wednesday rush. (Oddly Wednesday is the busiest day of the week on the forum. When you look at the performance charts you can see why it's called hump day :D )

Not to get into some techie talk.. I ran into a Gotcha during the database upgrade. Checking the board out now and everything seems to be healthy.

All of the major software upgrades that were needed to the server are now complete. There may be some tweaking from time to time, but no more outages will be needed for some time.
