Has anyone used the camera shooting software and come across the "Camera not connected" message? The camera is connected as it appears in the Win XP explorer window and I can download images.... Hmmmm? I have the latest drivers etc..

I believe you also have to change something in the camera setup menu that tells the camera that you are using firewire for remote shooting rather than downloading. I do not have the camera or the manual handy or I would tell you exactly what the setting is. I rarely download with firewire so I usually leave the camera set for remote shooting with firewire.

We all need a little nidge now and again!
RTFM works (nearly) every time!
For info to everyone using it - V2 is available for download so long as you have an 'original' disk. V3 is for the S3.

This is really not too obvious. It took me a while to figure things out when I first tried it.
