The update D70 Firmware Update B 1.0.3 is available from Nikon. It's been available for a few days and someone posted it in another thread, so I thought I'd post it in it's own thread to make it easier to find.

Mac Link from Nikon's site:

And the text on the update direct from Nikon's site:

What is new/Content Description

Issues addressed with B firmware version 1.0.3

1. When the mode dial was set to an exposure mode (P, S, A, or M) and II selected for the Color mode setting in the Custom item of the Optimize image menu, and then an option other than Custom (such as Portrait) selected from the Optimize image menu, JPEG images captured after this procedure were recognized as having the Adobe RGB color space when opened in applications with a color-management function such as Adobe® Photoshop®. This problem has been corrected.

Compatible OS platform

* Macintosh OS 9.0.4
* Macintosh OS 9.1

Bryan,

How do I determine what version I'm currently running to see if I need this upgrade?

Thanks.

Go to the Menu Screen, on the Wrench icon, then go to Firmware Ver. --. Click towards the right on the pad and it will tell you the A and B firmware versions.

The latest before this one would put you at A: 1.01 and B 1.02. This one I believe will put you at A: 1.01 and B: 1.03.
