Lookout Hawk

Taken from my front yard...This hawk had nabbed another bird and was plucking the feather off it while another hawk was in a tree next to it. They got into a couple of times fighting for it, but this guy kept it the whole time. Used a Sigma 50-500mm.

Swampy, this is a great shot. I am in no position to criticise, but I would play with the levels a bit in PS to bring this out a little more.

I've learned a lot here, and I've been practicing with the knowledge that I've gained here. That Hawk (levels slightly modified already) sure beats the Hawk shot I took 3 months or so ago... I'm still learning the highly backlit situations, but I've graduated to a much better shot than my previous... See below for the dumpy shot in a similiar situation for those who don't remember. :)
