Has anyone used an iPod to transfer images directly from an S2 or D70?

I know someone who uses an iPod, but he he doesn't do it directly - he bought the CF card reader option for the iPod. He's quite happy with it.

No, but then I didn't know you could do it directly. You mean via a firewire cable?

I used the CF card reader. Took forever and ran down the battery. Really not impressed with it. but then I was transferring 1gb cards at a shot.

Thanks, I was wondering if a direct connection worked but could not find cocumentation. I was concerned about voltage on the S2. Now I see it is not a very good solution.
