When I view my RAW files in the Fuji EX converter they all look very dark and muddy (very little color) When viewed in the photoshop plug in or even a slide show in the Fuji viewer they look fine. Even converted to TIFF they are fine but look terible in the EX program. its imposible to fix anything or check anything im there. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

I've used the EX for going on a year now (since early September 2002), and the only thing I can think of is that the settings for conversion are off.
When you use EX, you can specify how you want to handle white balance, sharpening, color, and exposure compensation. The settings you make there DO NOT reset each time you start; they stay at the last settings. If you compensate for a picture that's very light and blue-shifted in color, you might well end up with a dark, reddish image the next time you fire it up. The best thing to do is to set up a converter profile for your usual settings and load it each time you start with EX. Give this a try.

I have also found the images in the view to be muddy. I don't think it is an issue of the conversion settings, but rather an issue of dated software running in a classic environment and then attempting to translate accurate color data to a completely different opperating system. Just a thought.
